Louise Sauvage was born in Perth in 1973. She has won nine Paralympic gold medals. In 1993, she was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to sport and achievements at the Paralympic Games. In 2000 she was the recipient of the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ Sports Medal.
