This exhibition is an outcome of the 'ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Women and Leadership in a Century of Democracy' project, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne and the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Nursing Federation (Victorian Branch), as part of the National Foundation for ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Women's ongoing initiative, the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Women's Archives Project.

Research, interviews and writing were undertaken by James Tierney and Christina Cregan.

James Tierney is undertaking a Masters by Research in History at the University of Melbourne. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), majoring in History and Social Theory, and a Bachelor of Laws. He is currently Associate to the Honourable Justice Robert Redlich in the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Victoria.

Christina Cregan is Professor of Employment Relations at the University of Melbourne. She gained her PhD from the London School of Economics. Her research interests lie in the areas of trade unions and disadvantaged workers. Her publications include articles in Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Journal of Applied Psychology and the Academy of Management Review.
